One by One, like all other stories, started with a simple seed of an idea and a passion. Over the last 10 years it has grown into what you find here today.

Our Journey So Far...
As an independent film our aim was always to explore topics, ideas and theories that mainstream media tends to shy away from. We were fascinated by the effects these ideologies can have on the individual. By creating a conspiracy theory based drama, our hope was that people do their own research. We were incredibly lucky to find a group of kindred spirits, including Rik Mayall, who felt as passionate about this story as we did.
On this 'About the Movie' page you will find sources of inspiration or research, interviews with cast and crew that we've created and even music that inspired the project. In someway, we hope that it will show you how this little independent movie was developed, created and has been nurtured to become over a decade long labour of love.

There has been a tremendous upsurge in people hearing about our film recently and we are overwhelmed by the support online and see the message reach so many new people.
If you’ve seen our little indie film in another way rather than on DVD or Vimeo On Demand, not only will you be watching a poor quality version but you also do a disservice to all the people that worked, and continue to work, tirelessly on this project.
This film was made with a lot of blood, sweat and tears. As such, we had to borrow the money so we could make it and we're still trying to pay back the people (not banks) that invested in the idea of this film. You may not also know that most of our crew and cast has had no compensation for their passion and time. We feel a deep duty to honour them and their work. By renting or buying this film and not watching it through other means, you're supporting this project, the people who made it and the future of films like this.
